Week of Sound - Bruitparif in Bourg-la-Reine
Bruitparif - 14/01/2011
The 8th Week of Sound will take place in Paris from January 18th to 22nd, 2011. Its goal is to introduce the general public to a better knowledge of sounds and to make all decision-makers aware of the importance of the quality of our sound environment.
On this occasion, the town of Bourg-la-Reine is organising the 4th edition of the White Days from January 19th to 29th, 2011. This event deals with issues related to sound and noise in a transversal way: cultural, medical, social and environmental at once.

Bruitparif is taking part in this event by organising two sound walks in partnership with the town of Bourg-la-Reine and CAUE 92. These commented walks will be an opportunity to discover or rediscover the different sound atmospheres in the streets of Bourg-la-Reine but also to understand how urban development and architecture can have consequences on the sound environment.
See you on Saturday, January 22nd and 29th, place Condorcet, at 10.30 am. The sound walks are free and without inscription.

On Saturday, January 29th, Bruitparif will also have an information and awareness stand, place Condorcet.

For more information on this event, visit the Bourg-la-Reine website (French only)
