September 17th: Techno Parade 2011
Bruitparif - 14/09/2011
For the fifth year in a row, Bruitparif works to make Techno Parade a festive event without hearing risks.
Bruitparif will again install 4 sound level displays again on posts along the way. They will give in real time the sound level in decibels of the floats passing by. According to the level measured, light signals will deliver prevention messages:

- green signal: acceptable sound level;
- yellow signal, from 85 decibels: it is strongly advised to wear earplugs;
- red signal, beyond 105 decibels: it is urgent to go away from the speakers.

The participants will benefit from 80,000 ear plug pairs, as well as 40,000 “Take no Risk” prevention flyers made by Fêtez Clairs and Bruitparif, distributed for free at the start of the parade and along the way by the volunteers from Technopol, the association organising Techno Parade.

In case of hearing trouble, dial the number of France Acouphènes: +33 (0)820 222 213 (€0.09 a minute within France).
